Project Description:
Have you ever wondered how companies report their financial results, how auditors check whether the information is reliable, or how governments create rules that businesses must follow? In this project, you will explore the world of corporate reporting, auditing, and business regulation by working with real information from real companies.
Throughout the project, you will experience the early stages of academic research — collecting data, organizing it, and preparing it for analysis — all essential steps before deeper analytical work begins.
About the Project:
Accounting and auditing form the backbone of trust in the business world. Every year, companies publish detailed reports describing their financial performance, risks, governance structures, and regulatory compliance. Researchers use this information to understand how companies behave and how well they communicate with the public.
